How long is the show, and where does it fit in our schedule?

A normal High Gear comedy hypnosis show runs 60–90 minutes. Share your preferred start time and the meal, awards, speakers or other activities around it. We’ll agree on the performance length and placement before booking. Setup and any MC hosting are planned separately from the show’s running time.

What should we know about venue setup?

High Gear has a portable two-speaker sound system. We’ll confirm whether it suits your room and audience or whether additional venue production is needed.

Before booking, we agree on the performance area, volunteer chairs, audience sightlines, lighting, power, arrival and setup time, and what High Gear and the venue each provide. Send a room photo, floor plan or venue contact if you have one. You don’t need technical specifications just to say hello.

How much does it cost, and what affects the quote?

The quote depends on your date, location, event and the services you want: comedy hypnosis, MC hosting or both. Share your city, expected audience and venue if known so we can discuss the performance and production needs with you.

How do we reserve a date?

Start with a call, email or short inquiry. Justin and Christy check availability, discuss your event and provide a quote. Confirm the details and complete the booking agreement to secure the booking. Sending an inquiry alone does not reserve your date.

Do we need every event detail before contacting you?

No. Your name, email and a question are enough to start. A date and city help us check availability, but you can add those later if you’re still planning.

What actually happens during the performance?

Willing guests join Justin onstage, where hypnosis opens the door to imaginary situations and playful characters. Justin works with whatever they give him: an unexpected answer, an expression or a reaction to someone else. His quick wit turns those moments into exchanges and running jokes that connect the show. At the end, he brings everyone fully back to an alert state before they return to their seats.

Do guests have to participate?

No. Onstage participation is voluntary. Guests can enjoy the show from their seats, and volunteers can choose to stop participating. Justin introduces the experience before inviting willing guests onstage.

How do you match the show to our audience?

Share your estimated guest count, ages and occasion so we can confirm the show fits your audience and space. We agree on the tone and any topics to avoid before booking. For schools, we also agree on student ages, participation eligibility and school consent requirements with the organizers.

Can we book an MC without the hypnosis show?

Yes. Book Justin for welcomes, speaker introductions, awards and transitions, on their own or alongside comedy hypnosis. Share the running order and the parts you’d like him to host. Explore MC hosting.

Are you insured?

High Gear carries $1 million in liability coverage for comedy hypnosis performances. Proof of coverage and additional-insured documentation are available when required. Let us know what your venue needs during planning.

Do you travel?

Yes. High Gear is based in Arizona and available for events throughout the United States. Send your date and location so Justin and Christy can check availability and travel arrangements.
